is there a way to have the d16z6 work on a d16a6 but with no vtec???

 

Yea just dont run vtec wires car will still drive

pretty much, but why are you asking?

If you want to stay non vtec a6 head is prettty far from shabby.

 

but will the aftermarket d16a6 cams fit in it??? and the reason Im asking is because I dont want to run vtec

Then keep with an a6 head.

 

I dont want the a6 head I want the smaller combustion chambers on the z6 and the larger valves

 

you sir are an asshat. keep the a6 head and mess with that. i doubt that the z6 head will make a difference. i'm pretty sure you can't use a non vtec cam in a vtec head.

 

actually the z6 head will bump the comp. to where I need it..and the valves are larger and they flow alot better...everything I need for nitrous....but I need to eleminate the vtec....yet no one can give me a straight answer they just like spittin out opinions not facts
