OT: Please welcome newest class of 07 member
Hello all. A little off topic but please welcome my son to H-T community. His name is Luis Thomas Miramontes and he was born on January 10th at 2:17pm and weighed 7lbs. 13 0z. (little guy) 20 inches long.
Baby is doing fine, wifey got a little sick but will be coming home tomorrow. It feels to be a dad and i can't wait to teach him how to drive, cook carne asada..haha.
Anyway, here's a pic of him with his first car.

Now that the older generations of my family are passing on, I really wish I had taken the time to learn how to cook from them. A lot of little old ladies who came over from Italy decades ago and could make killer pasta. Maybe I'm getting nostalgic, but I think it's awesome that you are going to pass that on to your kid (Carne Asada rules). Someday I'll have to teach mine how to make smoked brisket chili...
