Default What mods to do....

Hey guys i have a completely stock ej2. But i dunno where to start. So far i saved up 2 g's. I pretty much have my set-up planned out, but i dunno what order to do it in. Like should i spend all my money on the swap or just do everything but the swap first? Thanks for your opinions.

For $2000, I'd get new front rotors and pads, a decent suspension setup (ie. Koni Yellow/Ground Control), and some stock alloys (Si's, Blades, Webs, HX's, etc) and some good tires.

No use going fast if you can't turn and stop.

How about a D21A swap?they are the biggest engines ever, like 250hp stock then you can do the suspension , replace bushings and control arms.

Dude, leave that **** alone.

Keep your stock brakes in the front. Just get good pads, rotors, good fluid too. If you want to go "all out", change your lines too.

There's a good deal in the marketplace for brembo blanks and PBR pads for ~$70

You need to be in control before you can go fast.

Suspension - Good Height and Damper, not some cheap ****
Rear 22mm Sway Bar with reinforcement
New Pads and Brake Fluid

drive the pants off of it and you will be okay even in a sohc

Personalily i would get the suspension on lockdowna nd tighten up that chasis before you do the swap.

Pick up an energy polyurethane master bushing kit for a great start. you will be pleased with the difference.

Konis, custom-rate GCs, Comptech rear sway ~$1200
Rotors, good pads, fluid ~$125
GSR wheels and Azenis ~600

With that, your car would handle and brake better than you can use on the street.

TIRES TIRES TIRES!!!

First mod to any Honda is to get some bigger wheels and good tires. Any modification you do to the car is ultimatly transfered by the tires, they dictate your grip, cornering, braking, accelleration, etc. I know its a throwaway part, but they are THE most important part of your car. Think of it as....a cheap suspension, braking, and slight power upgrade all in one by getting some bigger, lighter wheels with low profile tires. You could spend money on big brakes, a big motor, and stiff suspension but if the tires don't grip well enough, then all that modification was a waste.
