Basically ive got a 94 d16z6 Hatch, and ive suddenly developed this lound knocking noise.

The knock is coming from the rear drivers side wheel. and only knocks at slow speed under 50ish.

one thing that might help diagnose this is that i have noticed when i step on the break (even very very lightly) the knocking stops.

please help as its my daily drive and is scaring the hell outta me!

check your lug's...by saying this i'm not in anyway implying your dumb but it happens

 

lol no worrieis, ive checked the lugs defo not them. allthough i have recently got some new rims. dont know if this would help anyones diagnosis?

 

just take the wheel off and double check all the bolts in the rear including the caliber..i'm guessing its a si? z6

 

sorry to sound like a fool but what's the caliber? and im presuming you mean every bolt to do with the suspension and hub?

Im guessing he meant the brake caliper.
