Default condensation problem

i go to school in michigan and as you might know it gets colder than hell up here. I have a 00 accord and just recently i've been getting a thin sheet of frozen condensation on the inside of my windows all around (overnight)...does that mean that i have a leak some where or is this normal..thnx

yeah, I read this post last night; the one thing that I could think of is that in the newer cars the defrost setting runs the A/C, so that might lead to excess moisture in the system if the A/C drain is plugged.
Or if there are trunk leaks, the moisture could filter thru from the trunk area.
I've not really seen this as a common problem and I searched the Honda Interactive for 'leaks' 00 accord.
I really don't have any good solid info for ya, sorry.
But I could keep guessing. LOL

I believe he's saying it does it overnight when he's not in the car...

If you put it in recirculate after the windows are cleared, that builds up moisture in the cabin. Overnight it gets cold enough to condense out as frost.

I've had that happen when one day it's sorta warm & very damp. Then overnight it gets very cold. In that situation frost on the inside of windows is common.
