OBD-1 D16z6 problems PLEASE HELP ME...!
ok, please dont flame me, i did my research and tried to find as much info as possible before posting.
i have a 90 crx dx converted to MPFI and OBD-1 by the previour owner. im running a virgin p28 with a D16z6. car runs decent and gets about 25-28 mpg depending on the driving.
a few questions:
1. a few weeks ago, my temp guage just stopped working altogether. it lies dead and shows no signs of movement anywhere. a friend and i tried to figure out which wires were for the sensor but werent able to repair it...
2. my tach is on the fritz. basically it just flails about for a few seconds then dies and reads nothing. is this the dizzy taking a ****? or somthing easier...?
3. the car is also throwing CEL 43 (o2 sensor heater malfunction) does this mean i have to replace it? i checked the wireing and it seemed all good. reason i ask is because the o2 sensor was replaced prior to me purchasing the vehicle just a few weeks ago...
i know im asking alot of questions but i really need my car to run right. thanks for all you help and POSITIVE feedback.

The temp sensor is on the left side of the head, just below the dissy.
If your tach is acting wierd your ignitor maybe be going bad, i would swap a good dissy in there and see if that fixes it
If the wiring is good, then the sensor is probally bad
