Default MPG Computer

Does anybody know of an after-market Miles Per Gallon Computer for an old 1991 Accord ? Not a vacuum gauge, please.

ok this is really tough but i'm going to tell you a DIY MPG Calculator

1) reset mileage at fill up
2) drive
3) fill up car's tank
4) divide the miles you have recorded by the gallons you just put in

Now I know it sounds crazy but I think it's do-able completely theoritical at the moment

edit* not trying to be mean, just saying the easiest way to do it haha i do it on every fill up

haha basically the general rule of thumb

<3k rpm shifts
slow acceleration
slow deceleration
keep it below 80mph

all those should get you 28+ mpg depending on how your motor's condition is

Thanks for the hot tip, I never would have thought of it without your help. I will make sure to do the calc long hand also. I cant stand those nasty calculators.

you asked for a mpg calculator if you guesstimate and round

you fill up 10.5 or less gallons and have 300 on the clock, you're looking at like 29/30 mpg are you not? I don't see any need to be more accurate than that?
