Replacing Oil Pan Gasket.. Pattern?
I don't remember exactly, but I know you tighten the bolts from the center out, alternating sides. Also, the manual says to tighten in three steps (ie: 3 ft-lb, 6ft-lb, 9ft-lb, these ar NOT the exact torque specs, just example). I'd scan my manual and post it but it got stolen with my car...
Just some advice, no not buy a felpro gasket for this. I did and when I tightened the oil pan to the specified torque (in the integra manual) the gasket just popped out the sides and eventually cracked. I ended up replacing the gasket two more times in 6 months. The last time I went and got an acura gasket and its never leaked since. The acura gaskets have metal spacers in them around the bolt holes, seemed to make an enormous difference. Maybe I was over torquing the fel pro, but I couldn't find alternative torque specs anywhere for this gasket...
