I HAVE A D16Y5 BLOCK AND A D16Z6 HEAD WITH A P28 ECU AND ALOT OF PEOPLE SAY IT WILL BE THE SAME AS THE FULL Z6 BUT SOME SAY IT MAY BE EVEN MORE POWER. I KNOW 1 PERSON THAT HAS THE SAME SET-UP IN THE SAME CAR AND IT PULLS HARD BUT I DONT KNOW IF IT IS STOCK OR NOT AND HE WONT SAY WHAT IS DONE. THE MAIN THING IS I WANT TO KNOW ABOUT HOW MUCH POWER IT WILL PUT OUT B 4 I BUILD THIS THING INTO A MOTOR.

Man, none of us have a calibrated brain that can read your setup, know your internal clearances and the shape of your motor, factor in your oil changing frequency and the shape of your clutch and then do the math to guess your horsepower.

if you dyno it before you get your g.e.d you might be able to save some money.

Z6 runs 9.14:1 CR
Your build should run approx 9.23:1 CR
Assuming you're using the stock parts from both.
Also, they didn't have the Y5 rod length listed, so I took the # from Bense's site...so if the CR is off, blame him .

It's not really going to be explosive or anything, it'll probably feel like just about every other Z6/Y8 out there.
