can i use a non vtech block w/ a vtech head

Default can i use a non vtech block w/ a vtech head

i have a 1996 civic 1.6 vtech vin code 8. the head is good but the block is no good. i have found a 1998 1.6 non vtech motor. can i put the vtech head on this block? they are both non electronic.

Second of all, it's VTEC. There is no hyphen.

And what the expletive are you talking about block code 8? You mean it's a D16Y8?

And non-electronic? The expletive it's not. They're all electronic. There's miles of wires in a 98 Civic.

you can do it. the non vtec block with the vtec head might give you a little more compression for the mini me
