Ok First of I can not have have 5spd due to my wife haveing medicle issues with her hips. I have been told that the AT can not hold much power over stock. Is this true? If so Is there anyway to Beef up the Trany?or maby swap out to a different AT trany? Both of us would like to add some power to our 95 Integra LS without blowing up anything. Any info would be great.

just do basic bolts on and go all motor. i find it pretty stupid to boost an automatic anything.

that's not true...there are a lot of boosted automatic cars that are track queens..

But boosting an automatic Honda is another thing....Look into Level 10 transmissions if you have your heart set on this...It going to be costly and probably not very rewarding, but good luck

 

So what is it about the these tranys that make them so bad? Why is it that they fail when having that kinda power?

dunno way the cards were dealt...Honda made strong manual transmission but ridiculously weak automatic ones...

 

So how much HP do you think a Stock Auto Trany can take?

 

I have no idea .... But I'd say beyond 200whp youre probably pushing your luck...Just look into Level 10 transmissions if youre serious about it and don't want shitloads of problems down the road
