obd2 question is there a security system that cuts the injectors off............
If you're talking about the immobilizer feature of certain OBD-2b ECUs, you don't "reset it". The feature has to be removed, and that's not a process that should be discussed on a public forum.

It is functioning, assuming the ECU hasn't been modified at all. The immobilizer is a passive system that requires no action on the part of the owner in order to function. If you tried putting the ECU in a different car without any of the necessary immobilizer wiring or key reader, it's not going to work. As I said, there are ways to remove the immobilizer. Search the archives for "remove immobilizer" and you'll find a few threads with information that should help you out.

my boy is bringing me one tonite from his shop...ur saying its not going to work??????i have a bigger problem.i think the immolizer is good because if it waz bad it key symbol on the cluster would flash when trying to start and if it doesnt the imobilizer is work perfectly....now i dont have a ground on my injectors with the key on.....what could be the problem
Please elaborate on your entire setup. What car the ECU is from, what car the is ECU going in, modifications, etc. I'm getting confused about what exactly you're trying to accomplish.
