Default b18c1 engine ?

would jdm itr pistons work on a other wise stock motor. i gotta bore out my block do to a bad spark plug.. and im wondering if i can use jdm itr's pistons on my stock crank and rods.. let me know!!

bore out your block because of a bad plug? how does that happen?


to answer your question, yes you can. but the pistons must match the bore size too.

...electrode fell in my cylnider and fuckd the side walls and my pistons... i guess i advanced my timing to much or some bs...

what well b the result of putting jdm itr pistons ... higher comp i know.. will my tq get higher?? mid range or high? any help would be nice...

B16 pistons would yield more compression.

p30's would only put you at 11.5:1. pr3's slightly lower. that's very doable on pump gas with a good tune.

well. im hoping to just get alittle more top range w/ the pistons ... and i wanna raise my red line to 8500. w/ stock valvetrain w/ arp rod bolts... which is achievable?

if ur boring your motor ull need over size pistons. bore it .020 and get 81.5mm pistons in what ever comp ratio u want

you need a better valvetrain and better cams

if you're not looking for crazy power and the itr's will put you in the c/r range you want get them

with os pistons take them to the machine shop so they know how big to overbore the cylinders

Dont do that ^^^ A .020 bore is for 81.25mm pistons and go with the JDM ITR's, you will be surprised of the c.r. and the CTR are too high

1"=25.4mm so .010"=.254mm, .020"=.508mm

It depends on what size piston you buy.

I would take that block to a machine shop first and let them measure how deep the scratches are in the bore. That will determine what size pistons you need.
