just finished swap, went for test drive.........but having transmision prob.

Default just finished swap, went for test drive.........but having transmision prob.

i just finished a swap and went for a test drive, car started went to push clutch down then all of a sudden tranny was making a loud scratching sound, every time i push in clutch it makes that noise. and it wont let me put it in gear. it just gets louder when i try..what is the prob???

i turned off the car put it in first gear with the clutch dwn i started it up.. no noise then i started to relase clutch then the noise came back????? what is going on? is it the pressure plate? or cluch? or tranny??? please help

I'd replace your clutch and throwout bearing.

Of course we've heard of it happening. It could be just your TOB, but chances are, it's the clutch too.

yea. mine recently did the same thing. go pick up a clutch kit. u get clutch pressure plate and throuwout bearing. and alignment tool. lik $130 for a cheap one. and make sure u take a like 60-80 grit sanding block and sanding the **** off yur flywheel. or just have it resurfaced.

well i did find some traces of water in the tranny! maybe the tob rusted out
