Default Oil on Sparkplug?

Hey there!

I'm new here, looking for help with my integra I just pick up a week ago. It's a 91 Acura Integra LS with a B18A1 stock motor. The engine's cylinder on #4 is misfiring. I found this out by starting up the car and pulling each of the spark plug wires from #1 thru 4. On the 4th cylinder, the engine stayed the same.

I thought it was not getting any sparks so I took the spark plug out and found oil on the spark plug.

I also took off the valve cover for a closer look, and I noticed these bolts I circled in RED below are a little loose. Can someone guide me in the direction on how to fix this?

Is it a easy fix or would I need to replace it with a new B18A1 Block?
There's a shop here that sells the B18A1 long block for 600 with 42k mileages. But I would like to see if there is a way to fix it in the conidtion it is now, things to check and what not before I go purchase the new motor.

Thanks.

Take off your radiator cap when the car is cold, turn your car on, if you notice bubbles coming up from the rad that means youve got a blown head gasket and exhaust is coming up.

My piston and rings are fried on cylinder 1, Unfortuantly it wrecked my cyl wall (same year and motor as you) You could try running a hotter spark plug and try burning the oil, thats what im trying to do put it still miss fires.

could be alot of things. if u can eliminate a block problem, u can pick up an ls head for 50$ from anyone doing an ls vtec conversion. even if u needed a new motor, they go anywhere from $4-600. you problem seems to be a valve problem. check the tolerances on the valves and adjust them properly.

The engine is reaching it's last life span, 298,848 Mileage. I was going to go ahead and order the motor from hmotorsonline and swap it in. Just to relieve all the necessary problems within the old motor.

But thanks for the help, I just got back home after going to 3 U-Pull engine yards and decided it's better to order it off hmotorsonline. The prices came out the same. Local yard wants 980 bucks and the engine was still intact in the integra which seemed to have a major frame damage so I wasn't going to buy that.

I figure I was going to put in a B18B from a 94 teg and use it as a daily driver.

I did a few search on the b18b swap into a 91 Integra LS .. from what I read, here's the things I listed down.

B18B engine into 91 Integra LS

- Use B18A1 Distributor and Throttle Body and plugs
Why? B18B Distributor and Throttle Body has different plugs

- Use 91 Integra injectors and resistor box.
Why? Low impendence

- Replace oil pump, water pumps, timing belt.

Will I be able to use my B18A1 5 speed cable tranny to bolt onto the B18B1 block?
I wil be using my 91 Integra LS stock Ecu, Do I need to cut anywires on my wire harness?

This will be my first engine swap, sorry for the noobie questions, but I did search on yahoo and google and here also.
