Default 1stgen b16 in 90 hatch, how to do Timming.

when I yank a spark plug wire to time it does not run very well, very very tired like.

can you help me out, is there something i have to short to do this right.

I did not yank it to have it out, I pulled the #1 to attach the pincher to it that is on the timming light. sorry i did not inform what I ment. and thanks alot for the info.
