Those two do not go together anywhere in the world man. 500whp is NOT cheap. My best advice is search HT in both all motor and FI and decide which you would prefer but either way you go, it's going to be expensive. 250 whp all motor and 500 whp forced induction are probably about the same price and that isn't a low one.

You want to go boost.

250 hp=$10k+
500 hp=$14k+
These are basic numbers

We have made 500whp for 7500 or so a couple of times here.

But regardless, it costs to go fast.

If you already have the turbo kit ready to go, then why dont u put it on? Dont you think that would make the most sense??

i think that the problem with a lack of funds would be makin the 500whp motor last, not actually makin the 500.

huge hp and NA 4cyl do not belong in the same sentence... that's not to say an all motor car cant be very fast, but "HUGE" hp is not something you'll ever acheive with an all motor setup. a simple 12pounds of boost on a stock GSR motor will make more hp than most fully built B-series all motor cars. which one can get to the end of the 1320 is a different story though. hp is not the end all be all......

that said, after reading your post, i think YOU should boost the car...

Both set up will cost some pretty good money especially if you want 300 hp or more. For me i have a dtr-header, k-pro, skunk cams, supertech, stock block and dnr dyno tune 12 sec all day.......in progress rbc manifold, bdl throttlebody.

Building both correctly, FI will end up being more expensive. Dont fall for the complete turbo kit crap. Do each piece individually.

Either way you should: sleeve your block, get appropriate pistons and rods... upgraded valvetrain, port and polish the head and if you are NA, get cams. FI can use stock cams.

NA custom header will be 1200.00
FI exhaust manifold will be 1200.00

Port and polish will be 800 to 1000 for NA or FI

Pistons will be 550, NA or FI

Rods will be 500 to 800 NA or FI *stay away from eagle*

just my 2 cents but i would go NA just becuase of the staifaction of when you beat some v8 guy you know you did it motor to motor, idk it is just more exciting to me, dont get me wrong though turbo if fun just cause of its crazy amounts of power that can be made but both are pricey
