why do you need one?

if your not turbod or kswaped then the rpms dont really rise fast enough for you to not have the need to not look at ur rpm gauge.

I would like to know this as well. BUt the reason i want to know is because i dont have a Tachometer. I have a DX they didnt come with them. Now i plan to do a EX head swap but that would happen soon. COllege ()

For a car that has only 110whp, I don't see the point. If you had a K-series with over 450whp, then I could understand, but otherwise the EX cluster is more than enough, and it looks about 10-20 thousand times better.

What the guys are trying to say....

You have an EX

EX's have a tach

You dont need that monstrous thing on top of your dash.

I doubt you put anything more than 116 to the wheels, but even still 127 is nothing to brag about (since 127 is at the crank for a standard EX).

I actually used to use 1 on my CRX ( but i dragged it) if u are draggin, i actually advise to get 1. It was very useful.

#1 the shift light can be nice
#2 the OEM tack is up to 200RPM off of wat your actual RPM's are.

that much?

All u have to do is run 1 wire to ignition, 1 wire to a ground, and 1 wire to the correct wire on ur ecu, that governs RPM.

On my CRX it was a green wire running from the distributor ( i doubt its the same on an em2)

IMO 5" tach on an em2 that isnt tracked is lame, but if u need a tach, and dont have the time/knowledge to do a EX guage swap, get a 3" tach, and use that.

I would almost call it more of a "poser" than anything.

What does the first sentence mean? And, the only situation where you'd see that big of a tachometer, is on a drag car.

Just put the tach on if you like it so much.
