Hacked AEM CAI or a custom built one.

hacked because you cant simply bolt up the intake to the charger IM. You have to cut it because the blower / IM sits lower than the stock IM. Simply peice it together again with the soft connectors.

the jackson racing manifold sits lower than a stock itr manifold... so you have to mod it (cut ) to make it work.... I am using a modded INJEN CAI

I dont know if this will work but if the GSR manifold sits lower on the B18c1 motor why couldnt you use a Gsr Intake on your B18c5 to compensate for the Charger/manifold drop on your motor? Could that work???

Get an ICEMAN from a GSR if you can find one. They are the best and fit very well with no hacking. Alternativly you can get an AEM for a GSR and it will fit with a little cursing.

I'll try to remember to post pics later.

Hey itr1244, That intake is the exact plan i have for my JRSC project.
Is that a 3" SRI pipe? Did you fab it up yourself?

From the reseach i have done a 3" SRI (with minimal bends) with a velocity stack
yeilds the best gains on JRSC'ed applications.

This is what i hope to have in my setup, Just having a hard time finding a 3" intake arm. Probably will just buy some 3" mandrel bends and fab it.
