Get a valve lash adjustment. I did that in my car at 60k, and the idle was so much smoother.

Its not like the engine is running rough its just vibrates through the wheel & the floor.

If one of your cylinders arent firing right it can cause vibration. I guess you said it wasn't from the engine but that was the case when I had oil pooled up in one of the spark plug holes.
Is it only when your driving, like can you pop it in neutral at the light rev and get no vibrations?
And its only when your not moving?
It's hard to diagnose from just hearing " It vibrates when at a light.."
It is an older car so the mount could be a culprit..

My vote would be to go ahead and RAISE THE HOOD; then you can look at the 'dogbone' motor mount that comes off the front sub frame to the block/trans.
bend the protector flap out of the way to see if the top part has torn loose.

This is pretty common. It's typically caused by the rear engine mount system. It's a special mount that changes is rigidity based on engine RPM's. At higher RPM's a little valve closes and makes the mount rigid. Then at low RPM's, when the harmonics of the engine usually make vibration more of a problem, the little valve opens up and makes the mount more softer to take the vibration.

I fixed this problem by replacing the little valve. It was only like $8 if I remember correctly. It's located very near the firewall, almost dead center of the engine bay. Just follow the vacuum tube from the rear mount and you cant miss it. They're all vacuum lines, so you dont have to worry about spilling fluid anywhere.
