Not to condone his behavior, but a lot of people drive like that in European countries (the ones I've been to anyway).

Indeed! I was there last year with my Hayabusa, and people drive insane for the most part. Took some getting used to, and then I started enjoying being able to creep between cars in the middle of rush hour traffic.
