Default cel and code 1 wtf?

the car runs fine but after driving i get a cel and a code 1( oxygen content) and it does a lumpy idle ( it will rev to 3500 then down to 1200 and then back upo and down) when the car is first started(cold) it does the same thing(the idle) but it stops( the idle thing) and runs fine with no cel. the funny thing is if i shut the car off after driving it wont start its almost like it kicks back, the only way it will start is if i bump the key to the on and off position a few time then it will fire up(on position i mean the fuel pump turn on point and then one position back) this proble is getting on my nerves, i pulled off me evac and cleaned the screen but no change, oh and the car once its hot smells like its running either really rich or lean. my engine setup is a mini-me with a pm6 ecu.

please list things for me to check.

oh and one more thing the hose that runs from the itm to the top of the pcv valve is pinched almost all the way shut just thought id add that

no other engine codes?
is an oxygen sensor being used?

also, im not REALLY familiar with d-series, but if you have a FITV, clean it out, not the eacv. if that doesnt fix it, try cutting a soda can apart, and completely blocking off the fitv (just slip the aluminum sheet between the valve and the intake manifold). that seemed to do the trick on my b-series with the surging idle. hope it helps. if theres no fitv, just disregard that previous statement. lol

also, you could try swapping out a known working computer with a friend or something...just think outside of the box, anything that could be bad.could have happened to cause something to go wrong...

I DONT THINK I HAVE A FIVT but hey ill take a look oh i have a ls ecu laying here i have ran that before do you think i could yous it to see?

never answered, are you using an oxygen sensor??

i dont think the ls ecu will do you any good. i would try finding another pm6 or something similar to run a mini-me.

edit: fluctuating idle could also be caused by something as stupid as air in your coolant system, causing the eacv to mess up, or you could have a bad eacv, but that should throw a cel code (14 i believe??)

ye ai have 1 o2 in the stock manifold, you no what i think it might be because of the air in the coolent i will bleed and check yea up for more help

Well for one the 'won't start when it's been running unless I turn the key on and off' thing sounds like a bad main relay. It gets warm after running and will 'shut itself off' to cool down, the key needs to go on and off a few times for it to 'click' again (you will hear it click then the fuel pump will prime, very easy to tell it's the problem).

Replace (or adleast test) your O2 sensor to make sure it's good. Code 1 usually mean your O2 died, or adleast isn't giving good enough signal. Try using a friend OBD0 (single wire) o2 sensor and see if fixes your issue as far as getting the code.

For the surging idle, check for vacuum leaks. You said your PCV valve was blocked off? That's kinda harsh on an engine. Neither crank case vent nor PCV should ever be blocked off if you want your engine to last. Infact, go replace your PCV valve right now while your at it.

Follow with your hand all the lines and make sure you don't miss one. Old rubber lines crack after a while.

Good lord, unpinch that line! You are sufficating the inside of your crankcase.

i un pinched it and it still doesnt run right so i need sum help i pulled the evac off and just to make sure its working i hooked it to 12volts and it works so i know its not that i found a small hole in one of the coolent lines that go to the evac so i need to fix that but now im stumped, is there a way to test a o2 sensor?
