you need to use your engine harness and make the DPFI to MPFI wiring changes to it - you cannot use the Si engine harness, other than to rob the connectors from

basically all you can use the si harness for is for parts. the only connectors you will need is fro the distributor and the imjectors. gotta run 4 wires, 2 for the injectors and 2 for the crank angle sensor in the dsitrbutor. swap 2 wires at the ecu. add in the resistor box and your done. oh yeah i did have to lengthen a few wires but i went from d to b so idk if youll have to or not. i also recommend putting in a connector for the 4 wires you need to run just incase you; decide to pull the mnotor out later with the wiring harness on the motor. i always use the left over connector from the dpfi distrbutor plug to make that connectorion at the firewall. take your time and solder and heatshrink the wires. make it look clean

You can use the SI harness if you want to. I've done it couple times. Just that you have to run couple more wires. The reverse lights and Ignitor wire are on the wrong side of the Si harness and have to be jumped over. But, I would personally convert the original harness.

You cant hook up a si harness to the DX harness. The swap is very easy to do the dpfi to mpfi. I did mine my self and was very easy. Just make sure you read every thing and understand the directions and TAKE YOUR TIME.
