Nitto Neo Gens + Snow = WOW
Well finally got to "stretch" my new tires/rim combo... drove into our NJ office about 45 min from my house.
And... just my luck... snow/ice/rain/disgusting out...
So it might just be that since they are BRAND NEW they worked so damn well... but i dunno
lol
For the price.. you really can't beat them
I paid 388 shipped for 225/45/17 from discounttire

(supposed to be for lowered cars with "camber issues" lol hence the weird design.)
Handling felt great.. no slipping (except when i launched it at a light ( wanted to see if they would hook up in the rain)
Road Noise i really can't help you on since i have the skunk2 exhaust
But coming around turns... stuck like glue.

I wouldnt recommend using these in a snowstorm! lol
but in a light flurry rain... they are A - OK
I havent gotten enough time with them to really push corners in the wet
BUT... so far so good
So Cliff notes
Better than stock... ... up there with the Goodyears
So far with the fg2 =
Michelin All seasons =
Goodyear F1 DSG3 =
Nitto Neo Gen =
Michelin Pilot PS2 =

in all honesty, i have them on my ep3 right now and i am not very impressed, compared to the stock crappy michellins that came on the ep3, the stockies win for driving in the snow. i dont switch tires for season, and all though the nittos work great during the summer and dry times, i wouldnt consider them an "all season". i am SOL if i have to stop on an incline with even a millimeter of snow on the ground, all it does is spin. i have had them for about 15k miles and they are less than 50% right now which isnt much after only 15k, i dont drive hard, and rarely drive "spirtied" maybe the lsd in the fg2 helps outl i dunno, but dont get too frisky in the rain

well i use the element in harsh weather conditions
the michelins DID handle good last year in the snow (because they were new) after a few 1000 miles... a horror show
Hopefully these will be a little better over time
but still number 1 = goodyear f1's

just got off the phone with discount tire... after explaining my situation and the two tires i wanted, Tom (ext 438-- if you care to order some tires) pointed me towards the NeoGens, said people love them and they come close to outperforming the F1's... he even took more $$ of what the price was online. I couldnt pass them up, so they are on the way to my door.... He was an honest guy who said if i wanted he'd get me the F1's but would be wasting some $$

that i needed the d0p3st t1r3z eV4r!

The stock tires suck. It only snowed a couple inches last night and I thought I was going to die. I didn't even make it up my driveway. I had to leave my car at the bottom in the snow. I need some new winter tires.
so... sounds like you've gone through several sets of tires....what do you do with the others? sell them? or have you worn them down that you have to throw them away?
You've already gone through all of those sets??!
