Bulb is out on the fan blower switch - is it worth trying to replace it or wait until some other problem pops up requiring dash removal - as dealer wants $200 to replace bulb, most of which is labor as the part is clearly not expensive. Is this a project that could even be attempted by a DIYer or is it better to leave it alone as I have seen other posts that the dash will never be the same. Has anyone done this type of replacement and have a procedure that can be followed?

 

you can do it if you have a phillips screw driver.
