Default Valve Train Noise

I have a all motor B18b with stage 2 gude camshafts. The top end is noisy when the car is running. I was just wondering if anyone else has had some noise from the top end with high lift cams. thanks

Some noise is normal , even with valve lash adjusted correctly . I'd check the lash to make sure everything is sound , but if the lash is alright and it runs strong i wouldnt worry much about it . Especially running a more aggressive cam .

I have adjusted lash a few times and each time i did to the low end of the spec. It seems to run fine. So i think it will be ok

I had crower 404's there like 3/4 strip. Anyway they are real agressive cam - they were pretty loud as well.
I would expect a little noise is normal even after everything is adjusted right.
