I know alot of people don't like the licence plate relocation and then there's the whole trying to be JDM dicussion that has gone on, but what do you think about this. It took all of 15 minutes so I can't complain about it, and I could always put it back to stock. I just want some subtle diffences because there are so many NHBP Si's in my area.

Looks okay not my style at heart but good if you like it now please get a hfp lip kit make it look so much better where in NY are you ?. I see like 3 black SI's,1 taffy,2 habby,2 rr in mt.vernon thats about it !

 

Wild Will thanks for the opinion. I would love a HFP kit but want to wait to see if anyone comes out with a Carbon fiber front lip. I live just north of Peekskill and Work in NYC. I'm sure we'll meet when the NY meet happens some day. Haven't seen your car yet but I spend alot of time in the Poughkeepsi area and it's littered with Si's. Thanks again!

 

It could just be your car, but I really like the way it looks. I've been thinking about doing it myself because of the intercooler I'm going to end up with.

you want to be different? so you moved the plate over a foot?


how about a different set of wheels or something? perhaps make it faster... that'll be different.

Looks to me like it will have to be moved over some more in order to prevent it from partially blocking the flow to the intercooler.

nicccce ...i'm in PK and haven't seen you yet...i think the plate move looks good. i just had the hole in my bumper filled from the dealer putting on the plate bracket. i will be flipping my plate also. seen them flipped and flipped offset like yours...gonna try and come up with something different though .

 

im not feeling the look without the hfp kit, if u had it it might look better. but at least i got to see how my car would look if i put the sunroof scoop N those things on the window, as i was planning on buying those too.

Not with the way my bumper is set up. Yes it's a different bumper. No, it's not aftermarket. No it's not HFP. lol.

 

whered you get the red badges? how much? i lie them.

i also like the liscense plate relocation. ive always been a fan of that. my buddy with a type s put a DC5 tag off centered and looks real good. i think i may do it with an FG2 tag.

 

why relocated the license plate? better air flow or something??

but where is it normally? in the middle of the bumper? If so that is way better.

i know what subtle means.

look up the definition ugly in the dictionary and find "JDM" relocated plates right underneath.


you made a thread for some obvious attention. whether i give you negative attention or not. its only an opinion.

subtle would be the yellow fogs or red H. i'm pretty sure your car still looks different than the other SI's in your area. in a subtle way.

 

Looks good. I like it. I also like the fogs and the super h on the front.

 

The car is very nice... just needs to be lowered.

 

You know...livin' in a state where we don't require front tags...just makes me grin knowing I don't have to worry about crap like this.

It looks good though...I might have cut the louvres out and recessed it in or recessed it in dead center but I like it as is.

 

As its been said before, looks like 'Mater from that movie Cars... bucktooth. IMO

 

+1 on the car! I now think i'm gonna flip my license plate down but i'm gonna leave it in the middle. I gotta get HFP rims eventually i just gotta get my money up and navi first.

is that an optional door visor? where did you get them?
