Having hard time starting, Rough Idle, and black spark plugs...
Ever since it was swapped when it is cold it will idle a little rough. sometimes it would drop rmps when i gassed it then rpms would go up. It stopped doing that for a little while about a week or 2. Other day it was hella cold in the 20's all day. car started doing it again and had a hard time starting. It fired up i gassed it to like 2k rpms and held it for a little so it warmed up without dying and drove home. next day i go to start it, it wont fire up. it tries but wont start. it turns over and its getting fuel (when it finally started *** louds smoke out came out exhaust and smelt fuel so i assume it was getting fuel.)but wouldn't fire up. said expletive it and drove silver 1. tried to start it again today did same thing but finally sputtered up and started. so I kept rpms around 3k until it warmed up a little. when i would rev it in lower rmps 1-3k it would pop and **** as it climbed rmps. when i let off it would drop down to like 600 rpms and start stuttering like it was gunna die so i just shut it off. pulled a plug and this is what it looks like. (pic below) I have cleaned the iacv and the egr. everything appears to be hooked up fine vacuum wise. im using the h23 dizzy. new cap and rotor. new ngk wires and plugs when i did swap. any one got any insight? thanks for reading.
maybe 800 miles on these plugs.

any one got ne ideas? I wanna get her back on the road asap with school starting and all.
mine has been doin the same thing. didn't want to start the other morning, came home later that night and it started but started hard. mine has alway been runnin rich but when mine does finally kick over doesn't smoke. im about to start a type s piston swap so i figured who cares ripping the motor apart anyway. i was thinkin plugs
yeah its looks really rich with all that black. the car is just i/h/e. anyone got ne ideas how to fix this?
yeah but have nothing to tune on. Friend thinks the idle situation is it being leaned out b/c is hesitates and stutters like its gunna die. and possibly one its warm its too rich. Could the coolant temp sensor cause anything like this?

well, the car's basically stock - there are plenty of prelude's w/ basic bolt-ons running fine.

my prelude does that sometimes, would take forever to start, when it does - smell fuel in the exhaust. if I let it sit for about a day its a b**ch to start up. One time, my battery started getting low, so I had my friend jump my car. fired right up no probs (odd, yes I know). My FITV (under the throttlebody) was all screwy too, so I just tightened that (crx forum has a writeup in faq I think). Just some oddball things that worked for me, hth.

im using jdm p13. im thinking about trying to clean the ficv. turns out i was low on coolant so i filled it up and i took each plug out to check them. the only other dizzy i have is the jdm internal one and i gotta cut and splice to make that work so i wanna do that last. one of the plugs (1 2 3 4 or 4 3 2 1) which ever order they go in the 2nd to last on right had a little bit of fuel on it when i pulled it out according to my nose. what would be the cause of that?
how common would it be to have fuel flow past the rings into the crankcase (if engine was flooded with fuel b4 startup)?

i tested the coil and its in the range helms says is good. im thinking i just need to put my jdm internal dizzy on and see what it does. do i just splice the black yellow with yellow?

is there supposed to be a connector inside the 4th spot of the ignition coil? (top right)
