Default D15 head gasket replacment

hey guys

Just picked up an EG for $400 and it even came with a Blown headgasket. Do they make ARP headstuds for the D15? Would i be better off just going with the stock headbolts. Granted this has been twice before and seems like wrong twice before. Any info would be awesome.

Thanks!

i dont think you need to spend money on aftermarket headstuds, maybe new oem headstudds or you have a different problem.

go with headstuds, or ATLEAST new head BOLTS. if this is an on going problem check the deck for flatness and have the head machined.

what yes, just get 88-95 non vtec d16 headstuds. the OEM headbolts are only good once, and should not be reused unless checked with the proper tool (measures amount of stretch).

I am having the same problem with the coolant/exhaust gases. Did you need the special head gasket or did you use the normal OE gasket?
