long story short: My o2 sensor went bad and i threw it out. I decided to run a simulator instead of paying way too much for a new o2 sensor. Is there any way to properly run the simulator without having an actual o2 sensor hooked up?

 

get another 02 sensor.

or if you would have kept the old on you could have used a spark plug fouler

 

can i use the o2 sensor off of any car or does is have to be model specific?

 

Pretty much any four wire O2.
