right side of gauge cluster died
My car was working fine last night, this morning i went to crank it and it drove fine but i notised the speedometer, and Odometer arnt working, I dont know if the fuel gauge or the heat is working or not, The tackometer is working, what could have done this? and how do i go about to solve it ?
If the odometer and speedometer stoped and nothing else then that is your problem go check and see if the fuel and temp is working if not try the fuse for the cluster
where exactly is the speed sensor, i was looking for it, i seemed to find one cable going into the top of the transmission on the left side of the car, is that It? bc it seemed to still be in it, could the sensor just died and time to replace?

haha this actually happened to me 3 days ago...
the vss is on the tranny, closest to the firewall. if you look down right above your throttlebody to the left, you will see a cable going downward and a white/creme colored clip guiding/holding it. that is the speedo cable, and there will be a rubber boot on the tranny, under there is your vss...
also, you might have to do what i did and take your dash apart to check the connects behind the speedo. might just be that...
