Default skunk2 cam gears

well i have a set of skunk2 cam gears on its way and im wondering if its worth putting on.right now i only have a custom intake and full catback exhaust.it'll be used as dd and weekend racing. is it worth puttin on or should i wait? and is it safe to run this with stock valvetrain? ill be upgrading valvetrain in the future.

also will i need to tune my car to get the full potential out of these cams because where i live we dont have a dyno anywhere.

I would wait until you get head work done cause its not going to be that much of a gain and with the work you have now it dont need to be tuned now.

the work you would have to do to put them on without head work/ valvetrain work, isnt worth it. plus you wont notice any power gains.
