Default ECU HELP! TURN OFF IMMOBILIZER

I just bought a new ECU for my car off of eGay and need a way to get it to start. I know that hondas immobilizer system wont let me crank it unless the key natches the ECU code. I really dont want to pay honda $72 to reprogram my key to it. Is there a way to do this myself or use a temporary fix?

There's no way around it unless you happen to have both sets of keys...

go to the dealership and have them reprogram the ECU to match the key. this is your only option.

even if there was a way around it why would anyone post it so theives can steal our cars easier????

not to burst any bubbles but do you actually trust someone to tune your turbo car without seeing the car dynoing?

there's no plug and play in the world of turbo tunning for accord.

yeah, a JET chip + a turbo is a VERY BAD IDEA. Boom.

Jet advances your timing to achieve more power. Turbo cars need the timing retarded, not advanced.

I hope I'm just reading this thread wrong.

if it were me I wouldn't do it. Tuning the car requires the whole car to be at the shop and making dyno runs while adjusting different aspects of the ignition, timing, and fuel system. Just shipping the ECU off will not give you the best results

are you believe them?

they can't even get a reasonable gain for relatively stock NA setup what makes you think that they could do a resonable job for turbo set up?

there's like 568 different variable for turbo, no two turbo set up is alike(well, there's no kit for accord as you know) how's the chip going to respond on my manual t60 with walbro 255 vs your automatic t3 with dsm 450 injector with 3 inch downpipe?

trusting someone doing tuning without driving the car on dyno is like..um..well you get my idea.

after all it's your car, you don't have to listen.

well if i had a way to tune the thing or pay someone around here to do it i would. im not switchin to obd1 cause in order to do that id have to swap to a manual and those are 2 things that are an extreme pain in the ***

hey were just trying to help you out. It's worth making a drive and spending some money to make sure the tune is done right.

obd2 is not tunable. you need a standalone or a piggyback to tune an obd2 vehicle.

anything is better than JET, that's VAFC hack+fmu included.

the better question is how much money you have.
