losing/leaking oil

Default losing/leaking oil

Hey guys ive searched.. but tryna get the exact problem i have.. can oil be leaked out from the head gasket? also around the distributor and cam saels oil is leaking too. my block code where its stamped b18c has oil all over it.. and it looks like its coming from the headgasket and dist. and cam seals.. so can headgassket leak oil?

i got same problem..

my piston rings are shot.

and i think were all leaking oil from Vtec Soleniod.

i gotta add 2 quarts a week now for oil..

2 quarts a week??? thats crazy. you should fix that asap.

i think my rings are shot too.. other day i looked at the oil and i didnt even see any on the dipstick :-/ but its been fine now.. anyone else?

pictures would help...

If your rings are shot, you'd probably see bluish black smoke coming out of your exhaust since you'd be burning oil... Try replacing your distributor o-ring and throwing some hondabond on the mating surface of the v-tec solenoid. You can also check your valve cover gasket as that would be more likely to leak oil before the head gasket...

replace your distributor o-ring, vtec solenoid gasket, and your cam seals. Then see if it still leaks oil when u change those.

Check your PCV valve. A defective PCV system will allow pressure build up which will result in oil leaks.
