I had the opportunity to look at a sleeve that was recently released for the K-series market. All I can say is that it is really beefy! If I ever get my K-motor together, I want these things!

what's the point of them being so thick if the part of the sleeve inbetween of two cylinders is thinner then the rest?
wouldn't it prolly break there before anywhere else?

yeah whats that bore size in the picture? and will that not affect the ability to cool the engine (less room for coolant?
what ever happend to that offset bore k motor

There is lots of meat between the cylinders. This K-series engine is at 86mm. You can go 89mm and there will be plenty of material left between the cylinders. For comparison, look at my LS block sleeved by Dan Benson:

This is a great B-series block, and at only 85mm there is much less material between the cylinders.

They are JG's Magilla Sleeves for the K:

They are also available for other engines as well. I believe JG has the D, B and open deck H Magilla sleeves available now. Im not 100% sure if B and H are ready yet though, you may want to e-mail them directly to find out.

DonF or MAX_CFM do you notice anything with the JG Cylinders pictured? Call me to discuss. Don't tell anyone else though because they are not in the elite secret society of real deal people. :evil grin:
If one is a master machinist one will notice something instantly.
