6th gen crappy mileage and CEL
i got it scanned at autozone and the code i got was P0420, the flash code i got by jumpering the harness thingy was 67 (same thing)
so far all i have done is reset the light by disconnecting the battery, and it came back on, so i took out the O2 sensors and eyeballed 'em and the primary looks pretty carbon-y ,but the secondary looks good, no telling how the cat is, but its only got 90750 miles on it so no tellin'
also, could i take the bastard way out and get a test pipe and one of those O2 sensor adaptor simulator things that u can either buy or make urself from spark plug defoulers bored out to 1/2"???
o and its a 2000 accord sedan EX-L F23A1

wel the thing im talking about isnt that complicated, plus i can get a new denso rear O2 sensor for $38 (i only looked in one place)
i guess what i was gonna say was: is it the front or rear sensor that is morelikely to be bad?
cuz the front is 2x as much as the rear one

That code is for a "catalyst system effeciency below threshold". In orders words, you either have a bad cat, or a bad secondary O2. Most likely, it's the cat.
SECONDARY O2 SENSOR!!!!! for reals, cuz that one looks still clean maybe cuz the intense heat within thr cat keep it clean? good thing if its the secondary cuz thar ones "only" 40 bucks, but iwanna be real sure about if its the cat or sensors, cuz i only got $130which is enought for just the magnaflow direct fit cat and some new bolts since these new ones are rusted SOLID, OR any combination of sensors
some other dude on HT said that a crude test to see if the sensors are dying is to try and hold the rmops at a steady 2000, and not get a lot of play in the rpms
