Default problem i noticed this morning....

i had a quick run last night with a freind...i was readlining....nothing seemed to be blow other than this noise i hear from the engine. Sounds like a crackling noise around or in my manifold or throttle body? it makes the sound when im driving within 3 to 4k rpm..i noticed this this morning as im driving to work. sounds bad and its making me not want to take a run tonight....lol....what do you think it is?

so u think repacing the trottle body or/and manifold will not take away the sounds of clicking or rattleing?

seriously man it could be any number of things and asking people who can't hear it will only get you guesses. First thing you should do is look for anything obvious that might be loose in the area you're talking about. Exhaust bolts, heat shields and a number of other things can come loose and make the sounds you're refering to. Take it to a garage and let them listen to it see what they say if you and a buddy can't figure it out.

if it sounds bad, then you obviously shouldnt even drive it at all. Take it to your local shop, have them do a diagnostic test on it/look it over and see what the problem is. Dont drive it anymore, it may get worse.

get ready for the worst, your motor is gone buddy, time for a new one.
