Anyone on here try these out? I ordered these from Summit yesterday (on a whim from a thread I seen in the HT CRX forum about how they were on close out:

I was hoping that the power gains were decent, otherwise I may have to buy the racing b-pipe to modify and connect to my stock b-pipe or pipe it all the way back t my muffler.

Anyone with a dyno run with these headers?

PS. Summit is quick btw- the headers were delivered to the house by 11am this morning, and I ordered yesterday at about 2p!

wow, some people just are never happy, your getting a $500 header for 175.00 why do you even need to ask.

 

From the way they are designed, you should certainly see gains over the stock manifold...thats for sure.

It has a 2.5" collector, and its stainless steel, so you should have it for quite some time.

At that price...I would definitely say that you did the right thing by purchasing them. Enjoy! Edelbrock is a well-known and respected company, especially in the domestic world...so fitment and whatnot should be top-notch!

I would have to agree here. You're definitely in good shape...enjoy your new header.

NOPE, it has a 2.0" collector, thats what makes them carb legal.

So when you click on the link, its a typo? If you click on that link...it says "Collector Diamater - 2.500"

Are you wrong, or is the page wrong? I only said that because I read it.

this has become common knowledge on ht because of the collector mod thread

On the contrary, I am quite happy for the deal I got...btw, thanks for the informative post and answer to my question.

I needed to ask just to see if any body else on this forum has had an experience with the headers installed on their EM1.

 

summit is wrong. i have one, its 2.0 if it was any bigger they would not be carb legal.
