Default Bypassing the fast idel valve, d16?

A buddy of mine was able to bypass his fast idel valve on his dohc zc motor. it takes his car longer to warm up obviouly but i was wondering if it could be done to a d16z6 motor? practical or not i was just curious because mine has taken a **** and i have one on the way but i was just thinkin.

to techniquelly if you "plug" the FITV, since there is no elecrica wiring running to it that the ecu would pick up, its very simple and could be done. just not practical.
