Default alarm problem...

hey guys.

i have an "icd" alarm sytem, with a clifford chirper, and a dci relay box... i do not know much (if anything) about alarm systems.

here's my problem

normally, i press the remote, the lights flick twice for unlock, once for lock, the alarm chirps twice for unlock, once for lock, and the locks will automatically lock/unlock.

this morning, my battery was dead. i tried to start the car, but it wouldn't go. however, when i pressed the button to unlock the car, it still had enough juice in the battery to chirp, flash lights, and unlock the car. but not enough power to actually start the car.

i go and buy a battery, and accidentally let the metal contacts touch the wrong sides while securing the battery (which results in a blown fuse). i replace the fuse, install the new battery, car starts.

however, as i turn the car off, and press the button to lock it, the lights flash, the chirper chirps, but the lock does not lock or unlock anymore.

i pulled out the wiring, checked the fuse (15amp fuse molded into the wiring), it was good. when i unlock and unlock i hear the alarm send the signal (it sounds like a click when signal is recieved) and a split second later i hear the relay click (which means the signal is sent).

how can i troubleshoot this any further... i kinda wanted to have this all done by the end of the day!

pics will be up in a few minutes, also, neither driver nor passenger lock or unlock. from what i can tell, the passenger wiring splices into the drivers side wiring. i do see two wires that are linked to the door poppers unhooked, but i do not know where they go. pics will be up shortly...

thanks guys!

Did you have actuators added inside of the doors so that you can have power door locks? If you did recheck the wiring again. There will be a relay box that has some 20 gauge blue, green and red wires going into it and then 16 gauge green/black, blue/black, white/black, brown/black and purple wires coming out. This is the relay that triggers the actuators to lock and unlock the doors. Make sure that the relay is getting triggered when you press the lock and unlock button. if it isnt then replace the fuse that is on the purple wire and that should take care of the problem. If it doesnt then i will need some more info and to see pics on how the alarm is hooked up.

fuse looks good, i do know which one you are talking about. i just grabbed some 15 amp fuses to replace it if needed, or to test. when i click the remote, the relay DOES click...and i tried to pry apart the relay, and it didn't pop the locks. also, NEITHER the drivers or passengers pops... it's not like one does and one doesn't.

heres some pics i have... do you have an idea of what pic you need of a specific place?

thanks for your help btw!!!

back of the actual alarm:

thanks again guys!
