Question about Pulling motor...

Default Question about Pulling motor...

I pulling my motor out this week, but i have a pit to lower the motor into and i was wondering do you have to take off the intake manifold when droping the motor out of the bottom or can you just drop the whole thing.Thanks

never done it that way with the IM on...I would assume it can be done but would take some finesse.

you can leave the intake on but you have to take the rear mount off the engine. bring it down and forward at the same time.

No, there is no need to drop the IM to take the motor out thru the bottom....

nope you can leave it.
its easier dropping the motor from the bottom imo.
you dont mess up the engine bay as much lol.
