Default crx idle and check engine light problem

Hey i just bought another p28 because the last one was running rich, it had an ITR chip. Well the problems with the p28 i just bought are that it has an idle problem where it likes to keep itself at about 1.5 thousand rpm and there's a check engine light. I tried fixing by copying the precedures on this site https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=480385 , but my car is still having problems. any solutions?

Last time i got my d16z6 wired up in my crx, the mechanic used his p28 and it didn't have any problems, Is it a faulty ECU?

Any advise would be helpful thanks everybody

is the sensor hooked up to the ECU right? Could just be a bad sensor. You could test the sensor which is in the Dizzy I believe and that would tell you if it's the sensor or the ECU.

And did you have the problem and then put in the mechanic's ECU and it went away?
