Default Gas issues??????

Sup guys.

I was heading to work today and needed to stop for gas. My light was on and I had no more blocks left on the meter. As I'm pumping gas, I notice that the pump stops at 8 gallons. Which is strange as the tank takes up to 12+. I'm thinking that the station ran out of premium. I'm already late to work so I was like screw it, don't care if it didn't fill up. But when I turn on the car, the meter shows that it's perfectly full.

Any ideas as what the could mean? The weather here in Dallas, Tx is about 20-24 degrees, it's snowing/icing right now. Could the cold have something to do with it?

Could be something wrong in your tach..... either that or all your fuel froze j/k...

...But seriously, maybe there's something wrong with your tach, try to replicate the issue once your out of work and you KNOW that you have enough gas to get somewhere and then take it to the dealership.... leave the car on when you get there, the problem may temporarily stop if you turn off/ back on.

Oh.... and 13.1 gallons

Tach .... or fuel gauge? Two completley different metering components.

It should take ~12 gallons when its on empty... Wait until your next refuel and try a different gas station, I doubt it will happen again but if it does for some reason warranty ftw

I've noticed that even after the low fuel light comes on, my si sedan can go quite some time without filling up. If I do fill up immediatly after the light comes on, then I only get about 10 gallons in at the most.

Cool. It caught me off guard.

You know, I've driving the car with no blocks and I drove about 55 maybe even a little more before filling up. Don't ask me why, long story. lol.

Hey guys. I just got an 07 civic ex and I was looking at the Compustar Pro 2-way alarm and was wondering if anyone has it and how it is working for them. I'm trying to find a dealer in my area but the pro series is too new and not a lot of the dealers have them yet. I've heard that it's pretty good and if anyone has any suggestions for a 2-way alarm let me know. Thanks.
