I picked up a BDL k-series 70mm TB & I am having big problems with how the car is running. there is a direct trade off between idle rpm & throttle response. currently car idles at 1100 rpm (which is as low as it will go) but throttle response is VERY rough & jerky. TPS can be adjusted but idle will go up to 1500-1700 & response is a lil better
crxBart shimmed his tps to help - but I need more info. what size washers? has anyone had similar experiences?
I called BDL & guy said TB just needs to be broken in
... well after 40-50 pulls on dyno & hours of street driving it still feels like I am riding a mechanical bull

lol no **** I thought the same...
no leak - had to cap off line to catch to pcv. BDL is supposed to be sending a new spring & washers to shim TPS. he said I am the 1st he knows to be using on a street car
