Default Custom roll cage part 2?

kinda part 2... lol. iv been playin with the camera a bit more...

this is a simple 10 point cage in a 93 civic hatch. It's made out of 4130 chromoly, all tubes fully tig welded around. It conforms to NHRA class regulations once a window net and kill switch are installed (which will be installed when neccesary.) comments? critique?

passenger side door bar/seat belt bar, etc. meeting point.

looks great. turn up your gas when you're TIG welding up side down....argon is heavier than air so it will fall away before it shields the weld. Also find a narrow long cup...that will DEF help in those tight spots (same one I use for the inside of collectors)

have you been getting any referrals from me? I send at least 3 people your way a month for fabrication

I love the fab work, the fitment is great, and the welds look great but my only question is do the rear strut bars need to be tied into the frame rails as well like the main hoop with the 6 inch square plates to meet the NHRA rules? Just a question from a novice cage builder. Also did you do and post heating treatment to the cage after you were finished welding it?

Looks good, but i would've gone with a different color for the cage.

Just spray a little water/salt solution on it then in a couple of days you will have the new ultra jdm rust color

Looks really nice. Do you prefer to do a halo bar vs full A pillar bars?

What size tubes are you using to brace the main hoop to the tunnel?

cut the hole in the panel...slip it up on the tube. weld the tube. slide the plastic back into place after its cooled....purfect fit.

If you want that angled door bar to be really effective, bring another bar back to the rear shock towers.

We have done this plenty of times before, my car actually has the bars you speak of.
Alot of people want to have the least amount of bars possible in the car and still be able to have it certified.
