Default lowering seat position

Hey guys I'll make this brief. I'm a tall ******: 6'3" and 165lbs. Love my EF to death but I hit my knees on the steering wheel like its my job. Also it feels like I'm sitting indian style on 5 year-old's go kart when I beat on the car. I need a lower seating position, however; I love the stock SI seats. I know memoryfab makes low seat brackets. Will they work on stock Honda seats? Can I maintain my reclinability (not a word ) Thanks in advance.

I'm 6'1", and I recently installed Del Sol seats. Not sure, but they may sit a little lower.
Anyway, very comfortable. The RSX seats are higher, so don't try that one....

Do you drive with the seat as far back as it'll go? Works for me....

See thats the thing, I don't wanna install different seats. I wanna keep most of the interior original. Del Sol seats are too round for the EF style IMO. I drive comfortably but my knees hit the steering wheel I might just get an NRG quick release and bring my Nardi closer towards me.

haha. I'm 6'4 205 and I can't stand it when I hit my knees on the wheel. Your si seats are too clean, theres gotta be a custom option. I'd imagine race brackets addapted to stock seats would work cause stock ones are so bulky.

LOL thanks Dave. I'm thinking about the memoryfab rails but my only concern is if it would work on a stock Honda seat. BTW, thanks for the help. Car runs great now I gotta let you whip it.

do you have si seats? cuz i think those are lower then regular seats aswell.. iv got crx si's in my sedan and it looks like theres room to crush or cut and weld the seat pan lower before you hit padding.

only way to get low is some side mount buckets, although the steel framed sparco seats go pretty low .

heres my car with a friend "6 foot tall" sitting in it.
disregard his constipated look lol

custom side mount ultra low rails.

I'm 6' and have a hard time NOT scraping my helmet on my head liner at the track. How did I make my CRX more comfy?

1. Wedge bracket and seat rails with Bride Zeta III seat (I have the seat as low as it can be)
2. Momo hub and quick release (brings steering wheel 2 inches closer to me)
3. Fastline Performance shifter (Looks like a trucker shifter http://www.heeltoeauto.com)

Just a few suggestions...

Do you know if the Wedge bracket would work with a stock SI seat?

What about doing some ghetto things and taking the rails off the bottom, and taking (4) 2x4x4" box steel section and welding them to the seat pan with holes in the bottom so it all lines up?
