Default Noob Question

I have a 91 crx with a Ls swap. It is currently sporting a aftermarket header and 2.5 exhaust all the way back to a no name muffler. The car is really loud. So the question I have is should I buy a catback system. Or should I just buy a good muffler. I am not worried about emissions so the cat is no problem. Also if I decide to go with the catback system do I need one for a crx or integra?

as it is the muffler's job to "muffle" the sound...
buy an axle-back and have it welded on with custom pipes.

if its to loud you can get a different exhaust sytem.. I forgot the names of the quieter ones but theres a few that people say are pretty quiet! if not you can get a 18"resinator and have that put in. should quiet it down a bit...

and you would need one for a crx! integra one would be to long if you went from catback..

Im not 100% though thats just my 2cents

depends, do you want a loud car? i just went with an accord muffler. plenty of flow and it does not take up that much power. but then again i dont like the sound of slow rice. When i first bought my car it had a fat *** fart can that was really annoying.

2.5 is too large for an ls with out major work in it..

imo use a 18 res to help quiet her.

go with the tsudo muffler. It sounds good and is pretty cheap as far a price goes. Plus it also comes with a silencer.
