Hey everyone,

I need a few questions answered by somone smarter than I on the topic of swaps.

I bought a wrecked 2001 si with the b16a2 motor, I placed the b16a2 with the s4c transmission into a 97 civic ex that I bought without the engine, tranny or harness.

The wrecked Si had a hondata s300 on a ecu that dates 1994 I am not shure of the model of ecu. And the wiring harness to match it.

So I got it installed started the car, it runs weird, idles up and down and almost to the point of shutting off then back up. I am wondering what this is from.

Also the dash doesnt work, it lights up with the headlgiths but rpm and speed does not work correctly.

Could somone help me out with these 2 problems?
