Hey im a noob here. I drive a white 00 Civic EX. I/h/e, arospeed short shifter, arospeed springs, front strut bar, rear sway bar, blk arospeed project 5 wheels, n ferderal tires (which suck by the way), type r lip kit all around (painted), type r grill painted white. I'm more wanna go than show, but its deffinitely cleaner than it is fast. So right now im in the process of shopping for a b18 GSR swap to even out looks with speed. I've found alot of interesting posts, so if i post enough, i guess i'll be able to post an avatar of my car so u guys can check it out.

if your cool with about 200whp and on a budget then i agree, its about the best thing you can do.

 

hmotorsonline buy your motor there and come back when you have problems swapping it

 

I'm on a budget BUT *BLEEP* my single cam. I'll spend the extra money and get the gsr motor, then save for the turbo AFTER. I wanna avg 300 whp when im done.

 

u can find a gsr for around 2500

 

ecu, wiring, motor mounts, tranny, etc?

You can make 300whp easier and for about 1/2 to 1/3 the price by boosting your stock motor than you can by swapping out the GSR and boosting that . Of course at 300whp you might want forged internals, which makes the price 1/2 - 1/3rd the price of a GSR-T, not 1/5 or so.

 

hmotorsonline.com !!!!!!! anyone on here will vouch for them I'm only 30 mins away from the shop so i can just pick up the motor. Maybe someone else will tell you how shipping went with them.
