traction problem

Default traction problem

does anyone have any ideas on how to get good traction, i have traction bars that helped and new tired and camber kit but whe ni go to get on it they jsut spin i mean its cool and all but i like never even hook up any ideas?\


sorry since i was new i can only do 5 posts a day the tires are kumho ECSTA AST thanks for everyone for helping and the traction bar is set up right

Quit hitting the vtak? Stop driving on wet/icy roads? jk...What gears do you lose traction in? Are you talking about at the drag strip? Or are you just driving on the street revving up, dumping the clutch and spinning tires? If thats the case..then you will never get traction and just spend a lot of money on tires.

no man its not like that lol i just dump the clutch im not stupit lol and vtec doesnt hit tell 6k liek i could be going like 10mph jsu tstep on the gas and the tired break lose and thsi is at the track and jsu tdriving around any idea?

whats your set up mr "i have too much power", what kind of tires do you have? have you upgraded to urethane engine mounts yet? how low is your car, what kind of car is it? FI? NA?

b20 vtec 1992 hatchback stock motor mounts and im not saying i hav to much power im jsu tsyaing the tires break lose evertiem i race someone i have ot have a rolling start when i went to the track the lonuch tiem was 1.5 seconds and the tires are kumho tires

the car is a 1992 hatchback b20vtec lowered 1.5 inched in the front a inch in the back i have stock motor mounts no inserts and kumho tires not sure what kind the car has a good amount of motor work cams exhust throttle body reprogramed ecu itr head

How about weather conditions? is it wet? or is it dry and the tires squeaaaaal and leave rubber? is it sandy?

how about you go outside and looke at the effin sidewall, come on man, im really trying to help but your making it really difficult. expletive it your tires are obviously ****, if you bought good ones you would know what they were. so my advice:

-get better tires
-ease into the gas
-get stiffer engine mounts
-check with someone who knows to make sure that traction bar is set up properly.
